  2. About the Maelstrom Installer
  3.  
  4. This installer will create a folder called â€œMaelstrom 1.4.0 Æ’” on your hard drive, and place the latest version of Maelstrom in it.

  6. Installing the Software
  7. • If you are using any anti-virus utility other than Disinfectant™, please turn it off before proceeding. Anti-virus utilities such as Virex™ or SAM™ tend to interfere with installers.
  8.  
  9. • Use the Drive button to select the disk where you would like to have the software installed.
  10.  
  11. • Click the Install button to begin the installation. The installer will place all files in a folder named â€œMaelstrom 1.4.0 Æ’” on the selected disk.
